I want to reveal the beauty and simplicty of life and Christ to others and encourage them to find their purpose in life. I want to inspire them to continue moving forward toward their destiny and for them to realize we are all in this journey together.

This is a new poem from my upcoming book.
“Woman of the Woods,”
There once was a woman who lived in the woods.
She had a small family whom she adored; consisting of a husband and four kids.
She preferred the woods.
It suited her best.
The quietness soothed her soul.
She liked the companionship of animals over man.
She found when man was around there was too much noise and drama.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband, raising her kids and German Shepherds.
Then one day her world turned upside down, her beloved husband died.
She did the only thing she could think of which was to say goodbye to the only life she had only known.
She was to venture into the unknown world of the concrete jungle called the city; the world of man.
A place she had never really known; an uncomfortable place to find oneself that’s for sure.
She had little coping skills and next to no work skills.
She did not have much to offer this new world.
The thought running through her head was, “Will I ever be able to fit in this place.”
It was during this time we met.
Both of us needed to regroup.
We needed to figure out what was going to be our next step in our journey.
We became fast friends.
When I started to whine about how my family was going to live without running water and electric she told me to get over myself.
She proceeded to tell me that she had been known to pee in a coffee can and lived to tell the tale.
Little did I know that, for eight years I would be using a honey bucket.
When she heard about this she smiled.
She also told me to save on water she would wear her clothes in the shower.
I smiled; I thought she was adorable.
She helped me to become more comfortable with my future lifestyle.
Armed with her stories I knew I was capable and could survive anything.
I tried to help her become more comfortable in the concrete jungle.
Even with something as simple as the walks we took there were differences between us.
She wanted to walk on the ground; to feel the grass under her feet.
I preferred using the sidewalk.
Even though we walk to a different beat we prefer each other’s company.
One day you may run into the woman of the woods.
If you do she will probably tell you a tale or two before the next morning if you let her.
If you listen carefully you may learn a thing or two.
If your paths cross the encounter will change you indeed.
See that you do not make light of her friendship since only a privileged few are allowed into the inner circle.
Her friendship is as strong as the trees and the animals of the woods she holds so dear.
Treasure her friendship as I do.
I know she will treasure yours.
If you open your heart and let her in your life will be richer.
I know this to be true.
A long time ago such an encounter happened to me.
Your life and mine will never be the same.
I know mine isn’t.
If you listen carefully you may find echoes of her still in the woods she so dearly loved.
“In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.”

ALABAMA JUDGE POEM
Alabama
Judge
Some of you may be wondering what Judge Roy Moore has been doing since he was removed from the bench for refusing to remove the Ten Commandments from his courtroom wall.. Please read the poem he wrote. It's below his picture.
The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama. Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama! The judge's poem sums it up quite well.
America the beautiful,
or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.
Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.
Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine
choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain
From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always pray
We've kept God in our
temples,how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.
We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges;
who throw reason out the door,
Too soft to place a killer
in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.
You think that God's not
angry,that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?
How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?
If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face
and mend our evil way:
Then God will hear from Heaven;
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within.
But, America the Beautiful,
If you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
withdraw His hand from Thee.
~~Judge Roy Moore~~
This says it all. May we all forward this message and offer our prayers for Judge Moore to be blessed and for America to wake up and realize what we need to do to keep OUR America the Beautiful.
Pass this on and let's lift Judge Moore up in Prayer. He has stood firm and needs our support.
IN GOD WE TRUST!
